Pricing

At Uphold Solutions, we believe in transparent pricing to allow prospective customers to get an idea of cost before a consultation. Prices do not include equipment and materials since there is a broad spectrum from budget-friendly to premium in each category. Equipment and materials are discussed after we learn more about your needs and objectives, and are a part of the consultative process.

A basic system consists of professional installation and programming of 1 control panel (controller), setup with your network/server*, 1 antenna/reader, and up to 5 credential transponders programmed (if applicable). Labor time for installation is a combination of on-site and off-site work and includes up to 2 hours of training and post-install technical support during the first 90 days. Subscription Support Plans are available for continued technical support.

More complex controllers are capable of supporting multiple antennas, cameras, sensors, collection of data, and interactions between controller-connected devices with external systems; however, most of the cost of any system installation is setup of the controller to work on your network (primary cost) and a durable esthetic mounted antenna (secondary), so additional auxiliary devices on a single controller do not have a linear increase in price.

*Uphold Solutions is not an internet service provider (ISP) and does not specialize in commercial network/server administration. We will ask about your ISP, accessibility of your network administrator (if applicable), and current server equipment during the consultative process and/or at a site visit.

Credentials are assigned to an app, fob, card, sticker, etc. that serve as a passive or active transponder unit to provide information to the antenna/controller/server, allowing a “task” to be performed. $10 each ($100 minimum), or see our Subscription Support Plans.

Uphold Solutions does not program automobile key fobs and is not able to (re)program credentials/transponders for any controller unit or antenna without administrator access.

Fobs, cards, stickers, and other options are generic and widely available but usually have bulk purchasing minimums are mass-produced and may not meet your expectations. Let Uphold Solutions work with you to design a transponder to meet your security, durability, and branding needs! Design fee of $100 and $10 per transponder.

This service is for U.P. customers only. We are not an online merchant or large-scale manufacturer to provide this beyond our local customer base.

Technology-related cable runs, connector terminations, and mounting and setup of A/V or “smart tech” are ancillary to our primary services, and available as a stand-alone contracted service at a $450 per half-day* rate with an explicit scope of work.


*Uphold Solutions’ “half-day” rate, where indicated in our pricing structure above, is defined as a 3-hour segment of time for on-site or shop work dedicated solely to the contract Statement of Work. Labor time and costs for procurement and transportation of materials, travel to and from the worksite, off-site planning and preparation, etc., are taken into consideration prior to presenting an estimate and are not expressly counted as hours worked toward the half-day rate. Work hours will be in no less than 3-hour segments on mutually agreed upon days and times.
